Have you ever wanted to go Europe? Its always been a dream of mine. While I can't help with that, Lake Las Vegas will make you feel like you are in Tuscany. The beautiful architecture and ambiance make for amazing family pictures.
Located: On Lake Mead Blvd going East towards Lake Mead. There is a Lake Las Vegas turn off to the left
Its Halloween time, so why go to a ghost town? Don't worry its not that spooky, its actually a great place for pictures. There are many old cars and buildings that are perfect backdrops. Random vintage signs (like Coca Cola or Exxon Mobil) and machinery from years past add a vintage touch.
Located: I-95 South, before Searchlight take the Nelson turn off to get to the ghost town.
*Extra $10 to cover Nelson's Ghost Town photo fee.
This beautiful park will make you forget you're in Vegas. During this time of year, the trees are full of orange and yellow...if that doesn't put you in the fall spirit, I don't know what will. The old white buildings have a nice vintage rural cottage feel to them. You won't be disappointed with the scenery here.
Located: North Vegas and on the West side off Durango north of the I-95. There is a $6 parking fee per car to get in.
The Wetlands are by far my most frequented spot for pictures. And for good reason. There is so much natural diversity within a short distance. If you like nature, this is the spot to be. From giant majestic willow trees to babbling brooks to beautiful burned forest (trust me it is amazing) there are some amazing spots.
